I had an urge to draw Banjo and Kazooie cos last week Rare put up MP3s of music from Jet Force Gemini, Banjo-Tooie, and Conker's Bad Fur Day, for everyone's listening pleasure. After listening to a few tracks of Banjo-Tooie, I got the mad urge to play it all over again from the beginning.
I remember when Banjo-Kazooie first came out, I was a tad put off by it because, seriously, you don't really think much about a game where a bear goes to save his little sister from a rhyming witch. But I kept hearing massively good things about it, so I checked it out. And it was AWESOME, and I've been a fan of Rare ever since. Too bad they're not making GameCube games anymore. Sadface.
Hehe, I loved Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, too! I haven't played the gameboy or XBox ones, but it makes me mad that they aren't on gamecube anyway. Anyway, the pic's great! You did an awesome job! I should draw them sometime, too. Maybe a jinjo or something.

I haven't played the GBA one yet either, and I don't think Rare has plans for a XBox BK game yet. As far as I know, the next BK game is going to be Banjo Pilot for the GBA, but that might have been pushed back.
I hope they do a bit more with the series, 'cos the series is awesome. Hopefully they'll announce something soon, but I doubt it'll be before Perfect Dark, Kameo and Conker are finished..
Seriously, B-K is a whole lot of fun, especially if you're heavy into adventure/action/platformer games. I reccomend picking up the original one first, because Banjo-Tooie heavily references Banjo-Kazooie, and also picks up right where the first one left off. If you can find it, it's a lot of fun, even today.
I remember when I got that game. I never heard of it, and didn't even wanted it. BUt it's one of the best games I have on my N64.
I haven't beaten it though.
