My final project for Digital Layout class was to design a cover and interior for a book, including table of contents and chapter starts. I wanted to do 'The Zombie Survival Guide', but my instructor kind of balked at that. There simply aren't any good book about zombies, ya know? :(

So instead, I went with The Day Of The Triffids, the classic John Wyndham novel about a race of exotic flesh-eating plants who exploit the mass blinding of humanity to try and become the superior race of planet Earth.

I'm glad this class is finally over. Now to finish up my work for Speech class and American Government and I can relax for a week before the next term starts... D:

Cool; I've heard of the Triffids before. I always thought they were from one of those 50s horror films, but apparently no, they're from this book.
Very impressive final project; were I your teacher, I'd give you an A.

Dare to be stupid!
That they are. There was a movie based on the book made in 62 and another in 81. There was also a BBC mini series and radio play, too!
Ah-ha. Interesting...

Will it say "Illustrated by P. Gibson" in the book?
