Recently, I've been thinking about changing my drawing style, making a bit more cartoony and animated. I don't know if this is an improvement or not, but it sure was a lot of fun to draw this way. I drew 8 characters of the cast of Lancaster as practice. I like how Gort and Dane came out, especially :3

I don't know if this change will be permanent or not, but I just felt something needed to be changed. So, hey, inputs, comments and suggestions are always appreciated.

The style is very toony, and Lanny looks hillarious and serious at the same time here, this style does work pretty well, they pop out more :P and you drew Gus, wow, he looks sweet in this style too. awesome new style buddy

Good Lord, that's SO much better! It's so you, yet so much more expressive! It could still stand to have some stronger lines of action, but this is an excellent step in the right direction, IMNTHO.

It's like your old style, but cranked up to 11. I especially like Terrence's pose, he seems to be asking "How could things get any worse?"

I'm still trying to get the hang of those pesky action lines. That and drawing legs seem difficult for me. But hey, practice, research, practice! Thanks for the vote of confidence, Kyle :)

Personally I've become accustomed to the original... I don't knooow it's hard to explain! There's no doubt at all that these new ones look far more fluid, but.... Gaah! Umm, hmm. The style really seems more suitable for a comic where every 3 boxes, someone gets hit with not only a blunt object, but a terrible pun or two. Perhaps it's a little too toony for Lancaster, but what do I know? I'm not totally up to date with the comic yet :).
It's up to you man, these designs are VERY awesome. :)

Aw no, you've got me all wrong :p I'm changing my style of drawing a little bit, but the style of the comic will remain the same. I'm not gonna get too wacky, but the images will look a bit more animated. It's difficult to explain, but I think it'll work.

...that is, if I decide to change the comic style. I'm still on the fence about that.
